Responsibilities

Over the a chilly October weekend David Livingstone Birthplace’s museum hosted ‘Our Stories Between the Myths and Memories’, a free storytelling event of spoken word, dance, music and workshops brought together by creatives from the Scottish African diaspora.

For this event I designed an accompaniment foldout based on the gamification of colonial practices in the times of David Livingstone’s adventures through Africa. This amplified the messaging of the event, a weekend of crucial reflection and joyful connection that truly brought people together.

Led by Natasha Thembiso Ruwona for programming,
the David Livingstone Birthplace Museum for hosting,
and to Museums Gallery Scotland for funding.
