Two complimentary pieces about having to choose between faith and tradition. Both nuns are adorned with adinkra amulets. When one side forces us to make a choice do we choose belief or heritage? When left with having to choose between Christ and Culture, which would you choose? – this piece looks at the struggles of such a question faced by many in the African Diaspora and colonially ruled countries – who similar to Pagan religion have had their original stories and celebrations co-opted and slowly erased.
